An online course for assessors, building certifiers and building practitioners on how to use Section J from NCC 2019 Volume 1 - Building Code of Australia.
Introduces participants to how Section J works and how to assess a simple commercial building including :
- Part J1 - Building Fabric and Glazing
- Part J3 - Building Sealing
- Part J5 - Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems
- Part J6 - Artificial Lighting and Power
- Part J7 - Heated Water Supply and Swimming Pool and Spa Pool Plant
- Part J8 - Facilities for Energy Monitoring
- How to write a Compliance report
There are limitations on buildings that can be assessed under the Section J provisions of the BCA and these will be discussed during the course.
Participants will receive comprehensive course materials and sample exercises to complete.
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to all attendees.
All courses are 2 hours once a week over a 3 week period - 5/6, 12/6 & 19/6 .(1.00pm to 3.00 pm)
This course earns 6 Technical CPD points for NatHERS Accredited Assessors.
