3 week course for assessors, building certifiers and building practitioners on how to use Part 3.12 from Volume 2 of the NCC Building Code of Australia.
It is a practical day of talks and exercises that gives attendees a hands on approach to how this part of the BCA works and is applied to a range of typical domestic scale projects.
Topics include :
- When a Deemed to Satisfy Assessment may be applied and which classes of residential buildings it may be used
- How to perform an assessment using the building elements method
- Volume 2 Glazing Calculator - how it works
- Ventilation - How Part 3.12.4 works
- Services - Part 3.12.5 - compliance of hotwater systems and lighting
There are limitations on buildings that can be assessed under the Part 3.12 of the BCA and these will be discussed during the course.
Participants will receive comprehensive course materials and sample exercises to complete.
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to all attendees.
All courses are presented by a skilled facilitator.
