Initiatives have been proposed by all State governments and the federal government for new homes to enhance the current energy efficiency provisions of the Building Code of Australia.

We are conversant with all of the current requirements and the proposed changes for 2010. We can provide you with advice on how to comply with these requirements as well.

In Queensland new homes and units are currently required to achieve a minimum star rating of 6 stars when approved for construction.

How can you reach the minimum star rating?
  • Allow us to do an Energy Rating on your new home
  • At the design stage (it's easier then) or on completion of your working drawings
  • We recommend how to improve your rating
  • It may be as simple as adding inexpensive insulation to the roof or ceiling
  • ABSA Accredited assessors
  • Fees start from $165 (Incl GST)
